Hi, I am Miguel Ortiz, a passionate and driven designer, animator, and art director. My journey began in Japan, my childhood home, and it has led me to work in amazing locations like Israel, Indonesia, and Russia, enriching my creativity and cultural perspective.
In the early 2000s, I moved with my wife and two daughters to Southern California, where I have enjoyed working on various projects, such as video games, commercials, documentaries, corporate, brand, and videos for social media. I specialize in leading and working with talented teams to turn ideas into engaging visual content with purposeful messaging.
Aside from my work, I am an avid runner and cyclist and have completed many marathons and triathlons. My ultimate goal is to complete the World Marathon Majors. I have done five out of six, with London being the last.
When I'm not outdoors or animating in After Effects, my tool of choice, I'm experimenting with recipes and flavors in the kitchen.
